Asotel Company released the new version of firmware for switch Vector 1908G2D
Asotel Vector 1908G2D — managed switch of L2 with Broadcom chipset — is the excellent decision for Fast Ethernet network access. Besides of 8 ports 10/100 Mb/s it has two Gigabit ports for high-speed or trunk local network connections support. One of Gigabit ports can be used selectively for twisted pair or optical fiber connection (owing to socket for SFP modules is available). Depending on Gigabit module connection distance by optical fiber can run up to 40 km. It’s possible for switch to remote control via SNMP, HTTP and Telnet, and also console control. It’s realized the support of the next control functions of L2: VLAN (port-based/802.1Q), ports configuration, ports mirroring, rate limit on ports, security 802.1x, QoS functions, IGMP snooping.
In the new version of the firmware were corrected: - available hanging via periodical inquiry by SNMP.
